The Sonar® IDN Gateway Series is a family of high-performance gateway appliance units designed to meet the requirements of small to midsize enterprises with between 50-10,000 computer devices. They enable organizations to monitor & enforce the total network and Internet security and service requirements of their internal customer’s (employees, staff, students etc.), regardless of network complexity - based on the roles of those internal customers.

All Blue Reef appliance units are shipped standard with the Sonar Foundation Operating System and are available as three purpose-built high performance hardware-based platforms (the 1000, 2000 and 4000 series platforms).
